For those of you who have been here for awhile you've likely come to notice that there are no streets or hi-way out of this place and no matter how far you travel into the fog the mansion is always somehow in view. For those of you who have just arrived, you’ll come to see this soon. That euphoric feeling has long passed and allows you to continue wondering where you are and why. It's so barren and bleak and when those sirens begin to wail...

The days
March 30th - April 5th: Day oo5
April 6th - April 12th: Day oo6
April 13th - April 19th: Day oo7
April 20th - April 26th: Day oo8

March 30th, April 6th, April 13th, April 20th, April 30th

Weather
There is a storm on the rise and it starts with the sky turning a slight green come Day oo5.

Around the middle of Day oo5 strong winds will begin to pick up around the ‘outskirts’ of the mansion. There is a safe zone of roughly two miles out from the mansion before the winds become unbearable. Should your character get to roughly two miles out (or happen to be that far out when the storm comes) shadows will envelop them and they will find themselves inside the mansion. Should your character run from the shadows and passed this two mile mark, they will die.

By the end of Day oo6 it is too dangerous to go outside of the mansion at all and by Day oo7 any attempts to open the doors or windows will be unsuccessful. Shadows form along them and keep them closed. The shadows are not harmful unless provoked. It’s best to not do that unless you want to slowly suffocate.

During the mid of Day oo7 characters will be able to hear a faint chanting sound in a language they cannot understand. This sound will slowly fade from their ears and expose a uncontrollable lust inside of this. This lust does not need to be sexual in nature but it can be anything in which your character desires greatly: control, drink, food, etc. This urge will continue into Day oo8 with still no way to get out of the mansion.

Setting
No new locations introduced but characters will be forced to find their way into the mansion or will be carried there by shadows.

Items
As character's begin to feel this insatiable lust during the mid of Day oo7, they will find any item which might help them give to their lusting will appear. Please note that regular rules apply, if your character lusts for alcohol and they find bottles laying around to drink they may very well drink themselves to death.

Kenshi had just arrived on day 004 so he's still pretty confused over what the hell is going on and where he is. He would definitely be out exploring.

As for what he could be lusting for, I am not exactly sure yet, but I'm open to absolutely anything!

If Kenshi wants a challenge, Maul would totally be up for fighto.

What kind of intent do you want this sorta thing? Kinda testing each other out? Sparring to keep sharp? Maul jumps him for fun? (lol) I can't see animosity since they don't know each other yet so Kenshi won't necessarily be trying to kill XD

Maul has animosity for everything. Usually he controls his hatred fairly well but that's what fuels him most of the time. He'd hunger for power and he gains power through darkness and thus he'd have no issue ripping a stranger in half for the fun of it.

Like I mentioned in his plot below, though, if people don't want to die I'll have him get killed via going a bit bonkers and deciding to give the shadows a go.

I know dying is a Thing in this game, but I'm not sure I'm ready yet for Kenshi to go through that....but it's tempting because of LE ANGST when he comes back. Hmmm I know he'll be trying to explore the mansion at least.

As for what he could lust for, I have no idea. My first thought was the usual thing that comes to mind when one sees the word lust - but there isn't any other females other than Sindel....

lmfao you don't have to ever do anything you don't want to. This is why I figure he'll either roughhouse if someone does want to die or get killed because he takes up the shadow's Authority (tm)

If we do go that route during this event with Kenshi and Sindel, I am willing to handwave if you aren't comfortable at writing it out XD We can always hash out an idea of what happens on plurk or something. I'm cool with anything.

As for death - I definitely want to play with that mechanic at some point, just not so soon after him showing up. XD I know these guys will get a chance to tussle in this game at some point. I like the idea of sparring scenarios when there isn't an event making people go nuts!

Sindel will probably end up going a bit mad. The thought of being trapped might rehash feelings from things she can't remember of her past. However, once she starts to feel that lusting her ego will return.

Traditionally, Sindel's power lays more inward than outward so she might become more vain, more cruel, more holier-than-thou than she usually is. She'll probably be a BIT OF A BITCH TO THOSE SHE THINKS ARE BELOW HER SORRY (read as: everyone)

Maul will either accidentally go on a murder spree or die by trying to get out. This sort of depends on whether anyone wants to die or not. LMAO.

Okay well, Wash here will be very unhappy about being forced into the mansion and not being allowed out. He will be suspicious of everyone inside because really, he still has no idea what on earth is going on and who knows who might be behind it all. Ultimately, he'll spend a lot of his time inside trying to find a way out, but probably not to the point that he gets himself killed. So, if anyone maybe wants to help him come up with a plan or strategy, that could be interesting!

As for what he'll be lusting for... I'm not certain yet, it'll take some thought. But in terms of plotting, I'm open to everything and anything!

I'm really liking their thread in Kenshi's intro post so far!! These guys should tag team in the mansion to figure out what the hell is going on (or try to) XD Lots of exploring and oh shit moments perhaps!

Ohh, yes, I like the idea of them teaming up! I think Wash is going to end up feeling pretty okay about Kenshi the more they talk in the intro post, so working together is definitely something that could happen.

The elf is going to find a room to start carving symbols into the floor in order to make wards for himself 'cause you people, he don't know you people and want to have a place to hide himself in. But his wards have to have like rules to them -- like you have to be of high magical talent to cross. Blah blah. Also, they're fairly weak and need a power source. Once the source is made, there goes some of his magic which weakens him. In short, double-edge sword. When the source is destroyed, it does not come back to Yaha. He has to sit around and replenish his MP all on his lonesome and be sad that his spell was broken.

As for what he lusts for... blood, presently.

Oh, wards. Magic. Sindel and Yaha should make buddy while everyone's going nutso.

Rhodey is going to be trying his luck out on day five. He's got the suit still, but it's not working well. He'll brave the storm as far as he can go, get caught up in shadow and dropped back inside. That might stop him for a bit cus WTF.

He's going to find a room to hold up in and lock away the armor is he can, as by Day 5 or 6 it's going to be more a burden then not. So he'll be in the place, trying to find some weapons and REALLY uncomfortable with leaving the armor.

As for Lust? Not sure yet. Protection, organization, information, weapons, a god damn cheeseburger. Not sure. Will work on that one...

Ooo Kenshi still has to meet James.

I know he'll be sticking close to the mansion so there's a good chance of that happening. As for lusting, I'm not sure what he's going to want either XD

Liz is coming from a weird place in her 'life' so she's already a bit used to this. A foot up on some of this. She's not wandering outside. She already an tell that is a bad idea (storms normally are back where she as at). She might hang around more in localized / common areas, trying to see if she knows anyone here.

By day 7 she's going to want to give into fire, heat and the blissful feel she gets when she allows her fires to take over.

Anyone want to get hurt or die? Burned or something? Sadly unless someone knocks her out or mentally takes her down, she'll stay in fire burning status until she either passes out on her own or burns the place down...

Oooo she will be a cool person for Kenshi to meet! He has telekentic abilities that might be able to help with the fire thing (by making a shield or something). I'm open with him getting some burns or whatever! I'm also having him stick close to the mansion too so he won't be even bothering to go out in the storm.

I think CR with these two will be awesomesauce. 8D

I can see that if they meet before Maul just completely loses his grip on himself, he'd be very pro getting her to let go of herself. :) If you want to work with that mechanic.

ok so new guy in town is going to be totally confused and lost and will likely need some guidance if anyone is willing to help out. o/ He's been locked away in his own palace for so long that it's going to be disorienting for him to just suddenly be in a new mansion. He'll probably think he's dead or something.

and uh day 7... Snow's lust IS going to be sexual in nature. No idea how I'm going to handle this yet, but this guy is pure testosterone; he's a walking hard-on looking for a hole. Maybe I'll just lock him in a closet and let him beat it until his dick is raw or smth idfk. B| I'm open to plots, but I certainly don't want to impose on anybody.

Well, Sindel is pretty self-confident and proud of herself. Like i mentioned above, I def see her getting a bit more on her high horse than she usually is and sex is power.

So if you're up for quite a literal rumble, she might be able to indulge it. So long as he knows his place :p
